As photographers, we're always looking for that perfect lighting to capture the essence of our subject. Recently, we had the opportunity to do a model style photoshoot on the beautiful beaches of Surfers Paradise to showcase a couple of stunning bikini sets. The results were absolutely breathtaking and we're excited to share our experience with you.
The key to achieving the perfect shots was utilizing the sunrise lighting. There's something truly magical about the early morning light that makes it perfect for photography. It's soft, warm, and diffused, which creates a beautiful, natural glow. We made sure to arrive on location early, allowing plenty of time to scout the area and set up our equipment.
One of the most important lighting techniques we used was taking advantage of the natural reflectivity of the sand. The sand acted as a giant reflector, bouncing light onto our model and creating a soft, even illumination. We positioned our model in a way that allowed us to make the most of this natural reflector, creating stunning shots that looked like they were straight out of a magazine.
To capture these beautiful images, we used a Panasonic LUMIX G85 camera with the Panasonic Lumix 25mm F1.7 lens, on a micro four thirds camera this is equal to a 50mm lens on a full frame camera. The 50mm or 25mm in this case is the closest representation to what the human eye see's so shooting with this lens, everything came out looking natural and in proportion. Most of the photos were shot wide open at F1.7. The 25mm The 25mm focal length allowed us to get up close and personal with our subject, while still maintaining the context of the beautiful beach environment. We also made sure to shoot in RAW format, giving us maximum flexibility when it came to editing and post-processing.
Overall, the photoshoot was an incredible experience, and we're thrilled with how the images turned out. The sunrise lighting and natural reflectivity of the sand created a beautiful, soft glow that perfectly complemented the stunning bikini set. We were able to capture every detail of the piece, from the intricate stitching to the beautiful, vibrant colors.
